Fast, strategic criminal defence in Karachi — from protective bail the day an FIR is registered, through trial, to appeal before the Sindh High Court.
When an FIR is registered or an arrest is feared, the first few days decide a great deal. Our advocates move quickly to secure protective (pre-arrest) bail, challenge baseless FIRs and protect your liberty while the facts are properly examined.
We defend clients before the City Courts, the Sessions Courts and the Sindh High Court at every stage — investigation, bail, framing of charge, trial and appeal — and we also act for complainants and victims who need a case properly registered and pursued.
Code of Criminal Procedure, 1898; Pakistan Penal Code, 1860; Qanun-e-Shahadat Order, 1984; Article 10-A, Constitution (fair trial)
Do not ignore it and do not approach the police alone. Get a copy of the FIR and speak to an advocate immediately — protective bail is most effective when sought before any arrest. Avoid contacting the complainant or making statements that could be used against you.
You can file an application under Section 22-A Cr.P.C. before the Justice of Peace (the Sessions Judge), who can direct the police to record your statement and register a case where a cognizable offence is made out. A private complaint before the magistrate is another option.
Interim bail protects you until the court decides whether to confirm it. You must attend every hearing and join the investigation; missing a date can lead to the bail being recalled.
